You just focus on selling websites. The people who buy websites will also likely buy advertising, and you will get commission for that as well. 80% of the advertising set-up fee ($40 to you) and 10% of the monthly residual income from that client’s advertising fees.

Websites are easy to sell. Every business needs a website. If you’re not online, you can’t be found in today’s modern world.

Internet technology keeps evolving. Many businesses have outdated websites that should really be re-done with web 2.0 technology. Take a look at the website if the potential client says that they already have one. Is it a good-quality, up-to-date site or does it look out-dated? Possibly their current site needs better SEO. In many cases, a website upgrade is in order or a new website altogether.

In some cases, the person already has a good seo-friendly up-to-date website. For them, ask if they are interested in having their website featured on the major search engines when local people search for their products or services. If they don’t need a website, sell them advertising. Everyone with a website needs to advertise it, especially if they are selling anything on the website or trying to promote their business with it.

Always remember, a terrible thing happens in your business when you fail to advertise: nothing.
